It's been a wild three years as a freelance consultant helping businesses adopt cloud-native technologies. The market has seen phenomenal growth - so much so that by the time I switched to full-time consulting in November, I was fully booked through February.
I've had the pleasure of delivering dozens of production Kubernetes deployments, presenting cloud-native training courses and conference talks, creating a CoreOS Tutorial for O'Reilly Media, and building successful client relationships with companies including ReactiveOps, Revzilla, Distractify, Fusion, StratIS, and Comcast.
Today, I'm excited to announce that I've joined the Heptio team to continue this container adventure.
For those of you who don't know, Heptio is a company created by 2 of the 3 founders of Kubernetes and Google Cloud, and it was built to support and advance the open Kubernetes ecosystem.
They've already built an awesome team, including a few friendly faces that I've worked with in the past.
Why Heptio?
- Strong company values that encourage diversity and transparency
- Leadership team with proven business & engineering track records
- Goal to grow the Kubernetes user base by 10x
- Remote-friendly work environment
The last bullet point means my wife and I will be staying in Philadelphia (see you at Philly Tech Week!).
Want work with me? Heptio is hiring and we'd love to hear from you. You can also find me on Twitter @RossKukulinski - DMs are open.
